Mission
The mission of East Fannin Elementary School, a partnership of school, parents, and community, is to prepare children for the future by providing knowledge and skills to achieve academic excellence, personal growth, and success in an environment which is centered around students, directed by teachers, and supported by home and community.

Personnel
A staff committed to continuous professional development is essential to enable students to acquire skills necessary to be responsible, productive citizens.
Students
Education should encourage children to develop to their best potential according to their own individual abilities and celebrate successful effort and achievement.
Children need to develop knowledge, skills, and the ability to think for themselves so that they will be self-confident in setting goals, making informed decisions and acting in ways that will improve their own lives and the life of the community.
Curriculum
Excellence for each individual can be achieved through high expectations and proven educational programs and strategies.
Climate
We will create and support a school environment in which all children and adults feel welcomed, physically and emotionally safe, respected, trusted, and an important part of the school.
Open communication should be maintained between students, parents, staff and administrators.
Community Partnership
A partnership with active participation among students, parents, school, and community contributes to the overall education of our students.
